Founded by Eric and Laura Sorkin, two flatlanders who swapped city life for the rhythms of Vermont woods in 2000, Runamok Maple started tapping its own trees in 2009 and launched its retail brand in 2016. With elegant packaging, boundary-pushing flavors like smoked, infused, and barrel-aged syrups, and a commitment to the highest quality ingredients, the company quickly made waves in the food world — earning recognition from Oprah’s Favorite Things, Saveur, and Food & Wine.
